LOCATION DESCRIPTION

Our clinics in Inner North Brisbane are currently seeking a Medical Administration Officer to join the team. The role is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday with 7.6 hour shifts between the core hours of 8am and 5.30pm.

You will get your roster 4 weeks in advance and required to work across the below clinics (Please note - you will only need to go to 1 clinic per day):

  • Albany Creek, Ascot, Chermside, Wavell Heighs, Fortitude Valley and Strathpine.

Reporting to the Area Office Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing high level face to face and administrative services whilst ensuring the delivery of professional, caring and friendly services to patients, referrers and other customers.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Driving the delivery of high quality administrative duties
  • Managing appointments to maximise customer service and clinic efficiency
  • Providing excellent customer service and patient care
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers

Key selection criteria:

  • Previous medical receptionist and administration is a must
  • Ability to manage high volume, inbound calls
  • Demonstrated initiative and willingness to learn
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
